Track and special event participation:
Participation within
the Winged Outlaw National Driver Ranking system is voluntary and the
Winged Outlaw National Driver Ranking committee (Robert Carrel and Kurt
Burris) wholly determine eligibility of the tracks and special events.
The
rules below are the base criteria. Any track or series rules that differ
from the rules below can be submitted to the committee for driver ranking
participation approval and acceptance. Acceptance is not guaranteed.
1. Motor: Single cylinder, single carburetor, 2-cycle or 4-cycle
2 .Tires: Burris / QRC (any compound*) or Rocket Boy (any compound*)
all four corners
*If a track has a spec Burris / QRC or Rocket Boy rule
it falls within the scope of the tire rule listed above

Point totals to determine overall rankings:
The overall rankings will be determined using a maximum of 11 local
events and 1 special event. We feel that this method will allow the
most number of drivers to participate and have a fair opportunity
to be involved.
If a driver runs 15 local events and 2 special events their 11 best
local events and best finish at a special event will be counted. In
other words, 4 local events (lowest point totals for local events)
and 1 special event (lower of 2 point totals for special event) will
be dropped. If a driver does not run a special event as determined
by WONDR they will have a maximum of 11 local events counted towards
the points total with the special event column receiving a 0 pt value.
Tie breaker: The 12th event finish at a local participating track
will break a tie. If a tie still exists it will go to the 13th event,
14th event, etc….until the tie is broken. This will apply to
1st place position only as to be able to determine a winner.
Tracks results submissions:
Approved tracks will be responsible for submitting their results the
first Monday of the month to the designated e-mail address or to
QRC via fax to have their drivers included in the updated rankings.
We have an excel template that you can use to fill in the blanks for
submission or it can be done by supplying the following information

While this system may not be perfect, we feel that it is a good starting
point to achieve national recognition for the drivers in the sport.
If you have constructive criticism in the methods used within this
system, we are open for suggestions to make modifications for the 2009
rankings.
DISCLAIMER: The system used to determine driver
ranking is intended to give notoriety to the drivers who participate
in the Winged Outlaw Karts and is for entertainment and bragging
rights as determined by the numbers only. While there will be an
awards of recognition given to the winners as determined by the system,
there is no monetary value to the results.
